Job Title: Surgical Technologist
Shift: Days (On Call- Bonus available)| 36 hours per week
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: Estes Park, CO
Job Summary:
The Surgical Technologist is responsible for assisting the surgical team before, during, and after surgical procedures. They ensure that the operating room is sterile and all necessary equipment is available for the surgical procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Set up surgical equipment and instruments before procedures
2. Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
3. Ensure the operating room is sterile and all necessary equipment is available
4. Prepare patients for surgery by cleaning and disinfecting incision sites
5. Assist in transporting patients to and from the operating room
6. Maintain a clean and organized work environment
7. Assist in the cleaning and sterilization of surgical instruments
8. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines during surgical procedures
9. Provide support and assistance to the surgical team as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Completion of a Surgical Technologist program
3. Certification as a Surgical Technologist
4. Strong attention to detail
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
7. Knowledge of surgical procedures and equipment
8. Manual dexterity and physical stamina
9. Ability to work as part of a team
